January is finally over and as the days draw a little longer, the fewer days of February still bring opportunities for schools and pupils to get involved in various events.

RSPB Big Schools’ Birdwatch 2018

Every year, educators from every corner of the UK take part with their classes. There’s plenty of flexibility to run it with any age group of children and we have resources to help.

NSPCC Number Day 2018

Join thousands of schools for a mega maths-inspired fundraising day and raise money for the NSPCC.
With new creative activities this year, it’s maths but not as you know it!
Whether you dedicate a day or an hour to being a maths maverick, every pound you raise counts towards our fight for every childhood.

sign2sing Week 2018
5th February – 11th February
By taking part in sign2sing you will learn some sign language in a fun and memorable way. You will also be breaking down barriers which will help to reduce the isolation that some deaf people experience.
How to get involved:
- Register – it’s simple and takes just a couple of minutes
- Practise the song – Friends Forever is our #throwback song song for 2018.
- Plan, promote your event and take part – we help with a range of free resources and fundraising ideas

Safer Internet Day 2018
6th February
The 2018 theme, “Create, connect and share respect: A better internet starts with you” is a call to action for every stakeholder to play their part in creating a better internet for everyone, in particular the youngest users out there.
More than that, it is an invitation for everyone to join in and engage with others in a respectful way in order to ensure a better digital experience.
