December Dates for your Diary
The festive season is upon us! Here are some key dates for the end of Autumn Term.
Computer Science Education Week
4th – 10th Dcember 2017
“Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek) was founded as a call to action to raises awareness about the need to elevate computer science education at all levels and to underscore the critical role of computing in all careers.”
This annual program is dedicated to inspiring pupils to take an interest in computer science. There are various ways to get involved with raising awareness during this International education week, the most prominent being the Hour of Code scheme (which can be run all year round).
The Hour of Code is a short and concise entry introduction to one of the most prominent elements of computer science. Tips and resources are available here.
For other ways to get involved, visit the CSEdWeek website.
