In 1918, at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, hostilities on the Western front of the First World War officially ended. Ever since we have commemorated this important day of world history.

Anti-Bullying Week 2019: Change Starts With Us
- The theme for Anti-Bullying Week 2019 is: ‘Change Starts With Us’ and Anti-Bullying Week runs from 11th – 15th November
- Odd Socks Day for Anti-Bullying Week will be held on Tuesday 12th November
- This year the goal is to inform schools and settings, children and young people, parents and carers to know that it takes a collective responsibility to stop bullying.

Children in Need makes a huge difference in the lives of children across the UK.

National Stress Awareness Day 2019
6th November 2019
The first Wednesday in November each year is National Stress Awareness Day.
Stress and mental wellbeing are becoming an increasingly important area for discussion, particularly amongst the teaching profession. A YouGov survey last year found 75 per cent of teachers in the UK reported symptoms of stress compared with just 62 per cent of the general working population.
